S.D.P. Senior Secondary (Pracharak) School, Hazuri Road, Ludhiana, celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great devotion, enthusiasm and joy. On this occasion, the school premises were beautifully decorated, and the students and staff members offered prayers to Lord Ganesha, seeking happiness, prosperity and the progress of the school. During the programme, students participated in various activities related to the life and teachings of Lord Ganesha. The students showcased their talent through Ganesh Vandana, devotional songs, speeches and creative activities. The main objective of the programme was to familiarise students with Indian culture and religious traditions and to develop a sense of devotion, harmony, discipline and good moral values among them. On this occasion, S.D.P. Sabha President Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin extended his warm wishes to everyone on Ganesh Chaturthi and said that Lord Ganesha is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom and auspiciousness. He motivated the students to follow His ideals and teachings in their daily lives. Addressing the students, Principal Sh. Jasveer Singh Chauhan said that Indian festivals are an integral part of our rich culture and traditions. Such programmes strengthen moral values, cultural awareness and the spirit of brotherhood among students.
